60-year-old man murdered after being fatally stabbed in broad daylight on London's busiest shopping street indicted for the crime.
His Li Hunan of New Malden, South West London, was scheduled to appear at the Croydon Magistrate's Court today.
At 11:40 am on Monday, police arrived on Poland Street, a side street near the busyshoppingdistrict of Oxford Street, and received a report of a stabbing.
His victim, a 58-year-old man, died 40 minutes later despite paramedics fighting to save him.
From then on he lived in Southwark, southeast London, where he was named Li Sung and was informed by his next of kin.
