We all know the feeling of being kept awake by a noisy neighbour. Maybe they blare music all day and night with no breaks or they always have parties and the noise never ends.
But one man has been left fuming as he is faced with a neighbour who makes an 'ungodly' noise when they walk around their house and feels they have to buy slippers to stop the disturbance.
The man, who remained anonymous, took to a Reddit post to say that his neighbour stomps around his house without slippers on and the noise is unbearably loud.
In the post, he explained: "If you are a heel walker, flat-footed, or whatever and can't help but stomp-walk the least you can do is wear slippers.

He went onto question how people are able to live with themselves when they are causing so much disruption to their neighbours.
"Ok so if that's how you walk then wear slippers at the very least to mitigate the impact of your footfalls," he said.
"It's just basic consideration, especially if the floor is thin. Don't just blame it on the floor and do nothing to help it."
In response, many have shared his frustration as one person wrote: "Totally feel you on this one. I find my biggest gripe about my neighbors walking/stomping, is cause they do nothing to lessen the impact for one."
While another said: "Sounding like Godzilla is walking around and going to come through the ceiling."
A third penned: " I grew up partially in an old apartment and guess what? I learned to step lightly and wore house shoes. It isn't that hard!"
