Meghan and Harry's new Netflix trailer appears to show footage of Katie Price leaving court

Footage of Katie Price leaving court last December appears to have been used in a trailer for Harry and Meghan's new Netflix documentary.

The official clip, which was released earlier today, has raised some eyebrows, with eagle-eyed viewers adamant you can see the former glamour model exiting Crawley Magistrates Court in footage from back in 2021.

Earlier in the trailer, Prince Harry can be seen speaking powerfully about the "pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution", with images of Meghan contrasting with those of his mother.

"I realised, they're never going to protect you," Meghan says as paparazzi are seen snapping pictures. As she wipes away a tear, Harry is heard saying he was "terrified", writes The Mirror.

"I didn't want history to repeat itself," he says as a short clip of Harry and Meghan is shown walking amongst a crown.

A short time later, cameramen are seen flocking to take pictures - only it appears that they may not have actually been taking pictures of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Instead, the footage appears to be from Price's court appearance in late 2021.

Photographers are seen rushing near a blue building, which is identified as Crawley Magistrates Court.

Radio station LBC compared the footage to clarify that both clips were the same, pointing out that there was a cameraman wearing a grey jumper and what seems to be the same equipment, a woman dressed in black in a Covid mask and the lettering of Crawley Magistrates court on the building.

It comes just days after a previous promo showed a line-up of photographers at a Harry Potter premiere. While another piece of footage of "press hounding" from the trailer features a photo taken in 2011 - five years before they met.

The teaser for the show, which drops on Thursday, features a number of candid snaps of the couple from throughout their time together.
