WHATSAPP users have been warned of major changes to group chat.
A major update is in the works that will significantly adjust how you join groups.
Group Chat will be undergoing a major overhaul in the coming months.
This will include the addition of community features and you can create large groups with subgroup chats.
But WhatsApp is also developing a group membership approval system.
This was discovered by a technical investigator at WABetaInfowho dug into a beta test version of theapp.
The new system allows group administrators to approve new participants.
"When turned on, admins must approve who wants to join the group," he explains WhatsApp.
