EastEnders star Mona Hammond died at the age of 91.
Jamaican and British actresses were worshiped for her role as Blossom Jackson at the BBC Thorpe in the early 90's.
She was also known for her character Soot in Desmond.
Marcus Ryder acknowledged that Mona posted on Twitter and shared some of her praise.
He states: "It's sad to wake up to the news that Mona Hammond has died.
" In her many achievements, she co-founded the Tarawa Theater Company in 1985.
"She is also a graduate of @RADA_London and won the Honorary RADA Fellowship in 2019."
Ruth Wimin presenter Charlene White also expressed her condolences on Twitter. ..
She writes: "Monahammond, a pioneer in every respect. Thank you."
