Mum-of-two murdered after being stabbed over 30 times as ex-boyfriend is arrested

A budding influencer and mum-of-two has been murdered after being stabbed over 30 times.

Larissa Graziela da Silva Antônio - who had built up a following of thousands on social media - was knifed, mainly in the neck, in the home she shared with her mother and two daughters.

The 26-year-old victim was alone in the house at the time, and neighbours have reported hearing her screams and seeing her stagger out of the property covered in blood.

Shortly afterwards, a suspect was allegedly seen leaving the garage with a knife in his hand.

Her ex-partner Thallik Eduardo Pereira de Novais, 22, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Neighbours helped the victim on the street, but she had already passed away by the time she arrived at the hospital.

The suspected murder weapon was seized at the scene.

The shocking murder took place in the area of Jardim do Sol, Lins, São Paulo State, Brazil, on November 25.

The authorities said Larissa took out protective measures against her ex after he refused to accept that she wanted to end the relationship and allegedly started threatening her.

According to reports, the suspect also stole two cars while fleeing, which were later found abandoned.

The police inspected both vehicles before returning them to their owners.

The owners, a 49-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, both reported that the suspect was covered in blood when he allegedly stole their vehicles.

On 30 November, Thallik was found at a relative’s house and was placed under arrest.

The suspect had an injury to his hand when officers found him.

According to Larissa’s Facebook page, she used to work for the industrial company Bracol, but was identified as a ‘digital creator’ at the time of her death.
