A mum has stunned other parents by choosing a verb for her baby's name - but insists it is not pronounced how you think.
Dividing opinion online, the mum joined the growing number of new parents looking to pick an unconventional moniker for their child to make them stand out - but she's really stirred things up.
A Reddit user took to the online platform to share a baby name post they had seen that had left them completely dumbfounded.
They wrote: "The worst one I’ve seen this week. The pronunciation is even worse," and shared an image from social media, of a woman who had just had a baby.
Over the photo, it read: "We welcomed a beautiful little girl into this world named Imagine in 2018. (Em-ah-jen)."
The post seemingly sought to clarify that the name was to oddly be pronounced Em-ah-jen, as opposed to the conventional pronunciation of the verb, 'imagine'.

Reddit)One incredulous commenter pointed out that "Imogen was right there," suggesting that a similar-sounding, but more conventional, name, was available and would have worked just as well.
Another agreed, asking: "Was this supposed to be Imogen but they didn't know how to spell it?"
A third person said they didn't like the name 'Imogen' as it "reminds me of a chemical or element of the periodic table" but it would still be "better than this atrocity."
A third person added: "You can’t just name your kid a regular word and say it’s pronounced completely different?!???? You can’t….????"
While a concerned onlooker remarked that baby Imagine could face a lifetime of problems with her name.
They said: "They've consigned Imagine to a whole lot of future problems.
"From her first day of kindergarten, she's going to have to correct her teachers, substitutes, administrators, and anyone else who reads her name out. (I know what I'm talking about; my own name has five letters, and has been mangled endlessly.)
"It doesn't seem like a huge problem, but it's going to get really tiresome for Imagine."
In other news, yesterday the Mirror reported on another mum who had found a baby name she loves - but her partner hates.
The woman explained she is currently expecting a daughter and wants to give her an "old-fashioned" name, with Octavia being her frontrunner.
Her boyfriend, however, wants a more modern moniker for his little girl and is keen on calling her Mikayla - which the mum can't stand.
And, to complicate things further, the mum insisted she should be the one that has the final say over the name, as she said that she's the one who has to endure the "constant discomfort" of pregnancy.
One person told her she was "simply wrong about how entitled you are to unilaterally choose the name. You're gonna have to find a compromise somehow".
While another added: "Names are a two-yes type of thing. You both need to agree or resentment will grow. Also as a girl with an old-fashioned name, I did get bullied for it."
And a third wrote: "Assuming your boyfriend is going to be in your life long term as her father, yes you both should decide on a name you both like. Also, Octavia sounds like a supervillain name."
