Police Cosmetology A probe was fired after the body of a young woman was found in the spot.
Yesterday morning, paramedics were scrambled to the Summer Rays Nature Reserve in Wollaston, Northampton.
A woman, believed to be 20 years old, was pulled out of the water and a probe was fired.
Officers have confirmed that an autopsy will be performed today to determine the cause of death.
The identity of the woman has not been revealed, but her family is known.
Police officers on the major crime team are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death and said more information will be released in the future.
Senior Investigator and Inspector Morse Adam Pendlebury said: Please touch as soon as possible.
"We know that many people are worried about this incident. We want to reassure that there are many officers dedicated to the investigation."
