Old House, New House viewers are all asking the same poignant questions after the 'meaningless' makeover

Old House, New House viewers had the same challenge after the latest episode aired.

Brought to you by architect George Clark, this program transforms old historic homes into modern and livable residences.

In last night's episode, viewers were introduced to a couple who are looking to renovate their Surrey home and turn it into a family home.

The Arts and Crafts House was spacious, with a brick fireplace and traditional woodwork, but was in need of a 21st century renovation.

Host George, 48, revealed that he spent £750,000 for Graham and Julia to purchase the property.

"We came on the opening day, and on that Saturday she had 50 people come to see the house," she recalled Julia.

Graham continues:

Unfortunately for the two of them, there was Artex on the wall, which later turned out to contain asbestos.

Nonetheless, Julia and Graham decided to pursue their project. We overhauled the property for just £50,000.

When George returns, nine months after his first arrival, he finds himself completely transformed into an elegant abode, preserving the original character of the house. I noticed that.

When he asked the couple if they were on a budget, Graham said sarcastically:

"Maybe he made around £100,000, It was worth it," he added.

However, viewers quickly realized that he was missing one household item.

The couple appeared to have no personal possessions in their minimalist home. Television, in particular, bewildered viewers.

"My question is always, where's the TV?," one user posted on her Twitter.

Another said, ``There are more shows pretending there is no TV in the lounge.''

What would she look like when all her belongings are back in the room? This minimalist trend looks very nice, but it is not realistic...she Where are my belongings?! #oldhousenewhome
