Owami Davies: Man arrested on suspicion of kidnapping as search continues for missing student nurse

A fifth man has been arrested by detectives investigating the disappearance of a nursing student a month ago.

Owami Davies, aged 24, fromGrey,Essex, was in the Derby of west Croydonsouth London. Last seen just before Thursday, July 7th.

Her desperate family has publicly requested help in locating her amid growing fears for her safety.

Four of his previously arrested men (two on murder charges and two on kidnapping charges) were released on bail until September.

A 27-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, police said Sunday.

CCTV captured Mr. Davis with a man on July 7. This is the date she was last seen.

A police officer wants to speak to the driver of a van parked on Derby Road. Her driver likely saw her crossing the road with a man.

A second, unidentified sighting of her was also reported on nearby Clarendon Road around 7:00 am the same day.

Ms. Davis had left her family's home in Grays, Essex three days ago on her Monday, July 4th.

Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Penney, who is leading the investigation for the Metropolitan Police, said:

"We continue to work tirelessly on all investigations, including large-scale CCTV trolls, as we continue our search for Owami.

"The last confirmed It's been a month since the sighting and I can't imagine what it was like for her family at that time and we will continue to offer them all the support we can.

"While we appreciate the support we have received from the public so far, we encourage anyone with information, even if they believe it to be insignificant, to contact us.

Her mother Nicol Davies filed a public complaint through the police for help in finding her daughter.
