Price warning to all iPhone fans – you could soon be facing big costs

Apple fans could get a hefty bill later this year due to the potential iPhone price hike.

According to insiders, gadget buyers may have to pay up to 15% more for the new iPhone 14 model.

iPhone prices often go up every few years.

And now, Top He analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes the average selling price (ASP) of the iPhone will rise significantly.

"We estimate that the ASP for theiPhone 14 series will increase by about 15%," writes a analyst at TF Securities.

According to him, the average price is around $1,000 to $1,050, which probably equates to £999 to £1,049.

He blamed the rise on the "iPhone 14 Pro price hike."

Last month, an expert told The Sun that his next iPhone could cost $100/£100 more than last year's model60}.

Apple will, as usual, in September he will announce four new iPhone models.

The iPhone Mini is expected to drop, replaced by the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max.

This is in addition to the more expensive iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

So without the Mini, the iPhone line could simply start at $799/£779.

This is a price increase for the iPhone series, but not for the iPhone 14 itself.

Apple won't confirm this untillaunches in his September.

So it's possible that the price increase won't happen at all. .

The Sun will be covering the iPhone 14 launch live, so check back next month.
