Prince Harry's tell-all autobiography is available on Amazon for free as part of a Black Friday deal - two months before the explosive book was set to hit shelves in January. The memoir, titled Spare, has been highly anticipated after Penguin announced its release. The book was originally rumoured to be published in November ahead of Christmas but has now been pushed back to 2023.

But Amazon customers could get their hands on it for free, with the deal for those who take out a trial of their audiobook service Audible.

The book is on the list of free works which can be purchased by Audible listeners during the trial.

And the memoir has already been spotted for sale at half the price in some leading bookstores across the UK.

The audiobook will not be available to listen to until its release on January 10, but shoppers can sign up ahead of time for the trial now, select the book and then cancel their account - leaving the audiobook free upon its release.

The audiobook will be read by the Duke of Sussex himself.

Prince Harry had originally hoped to publish the memoir in autumn this year, but the devastating death of his beloved grandmother the Queen meant more work was required - with royal experts speculating he may be rewriting parts in light of the monarch's passing.

He is said to have requested a number of last-minute changes amid fears his novel would "not go down too well" in the wake of her death.

Publisher Penguin Random House has promised "raw, unflinching honesty" in the "intimate and heartfelt memoir", with Harry reportedly paid £18.4million in advance for the book as part of a three-title deal worth £36.8m.

WHSmith advertised Spare at £14 in October, despite the recommended retail price of £28.

Amazon also advertised the memoir at half the price during its Black Friday price slashes.

The Royal Family is said to be bracing themselves for the release, with more revelations expected to come from the book.

The 416-page title comes following a difficult year for the family, with Her Majesty's death in September and news of Meghan Markle and Harry's Netflix docu-series.

Experts have warned the book could cause more friction between the Sussexes and the rest of the family, with tensions already high after the release of Meghan's podcast Archetypes on Spotify.

The Duchess made a series of claims in the podcast, with a recent interview adding more fuel to the fire.

Meghan and Harry were pictured alongside members of the family, including Prince William and Kate, during the mourning period following the Queen's death in September.

But since returning to the US, where the pair moved in 2020, the couple have not returned to the UK.
