Residents hear 'explosions' as 'multiple fire trucks' race to set house on fire

Residents fear there was an "explosion" in their residential area this evening asfirefightersbattle fires in their homes.

One resident told Stoke-on-Trent Live:

They were called to the scene at 7:30 pm, according to the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A spokesperson said: "There are three appliances on St. We are unable to do so, but police will issue a statement.The case is still ongoing."
