A82 Torlandi to Spian Bridge remains closed in both directions due to a road traffic accident. The crash occurred around 8pm yesterday (Thursday) and emergency services have been on the scene since then.
Drivers were previously told to use a different route, even though a local detour was implemented for small/light vehicles. All other vehicles must use a different route at this time.
A local detour implemented for Northbound small cars departs the A830 to Banabie. Then turn right onto the B8004 to Commando Memorial and merge back onto the A82. Southbound is also the opposite, but not suitable for HGV.
National Highway Information Service Inrix was updated last night at 11:43 PM.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the incident.It is also unclear when the event will dissipate and traffic patterns in the area will return to normal.
