Former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs has a 'sinister' side to his personality that exposed his ex-girlfriend to 'abusive people', a court heard today .
Giggs has been accused of using controlling and intimidating behavior against Greville, 36, between August 2017 and November 2020. . Greater on November 1, 2020, at his home in Worsley, Manchester, where his sister Emma Greville was assaulted.
Giggs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Mr Wright told the jury at Minschul Street Crown Court in Manchester, On the pitch his skills were rich and beautiful.
"Outside the private pitch of his own private life at home and behind closed doors, there was a much uglier, more sinister side to his personality, as the facts reveal." 13}
``This was a private life involving a barrage of physical and emotional abuse against a woman he professed to love. For example, women who have been treated in a way that cannot be excused or overlooked by both the adored public and the law. A story of coercion, but unfortunately the reality was much different.
"After years of upheaval, when the scales fell from her eyes, she realized the extent of his influence."
According to Mr Wright, the outcome of this severance decision was the incident of 1 November 2020, in which Giggs was sent to War of Greater Manchester. He allegedly assaulted Mr. Greville at his home in Three, as well as his sister.
Giggs allegedly "lost control" and headbutted Mr. Greville, Wright told jurors.
Police were called and she is alleged to have told them about the "toxic" nature of the relationship.
