STRICTLY fans have been left open mouthed after spotting a bizarre moment between Matt Goss and his pro partner Nadiya Bychkova.
The pair took to the dance floor to quickstep to Sir Duke by The Chris Walden Big Band as the hit BBC show returned, and scored five points from all of the judges.
But dancing aside, fans shared their thoughts after seeing Matt appear to ‘pull’ Nadiya into shot.
It came as host Claudia spoke to the stars and their pro-partners and Matt and Nadiya stood at the back.
Suddenly, Matt can be seen taking Nadiya by the arm and moving her into the shot to stand next to him.
Strictly fans picked up on the moment on social media, with one person writing: “Matt Goss just pulled Nadiya into shot and tried to act casual about it.”
Another added: “Matt Goss just pulled Nadiya into the camera frame. He’s so horrible.”
A third said: “Really didn’t like what I just saw. It made Matt look controlling and desperate.”
Others commented on Nadiya and Matt’s dance and coined them a “great couple.”
Someone said: “I loved Matt and Nadiya, they were incredible.”
It comes as body language expert Darren Stanton told The Sun that Matt intends to win the show.
He said: “It’s going to be interesting to see how far he goes.
“It’s clear he is a very determined and motivated person and as he’s used to being on stage and performing, we could see him go some way this series. Matt came over as being very genuine, he held fantastic eye contact with Nadiya.
“He appears to be quite a spiritual person and responds well to his feelings. We saw him looking down and to the right with his eyes often - a classic sign that suggests he goes by his gut instinct.
“Both Matt and Nadiya seemed tactile with one another from the get-go and there appeared to be an instant connection between the two.
“Matt may just be one to watch in the competition, he has a real intensity in his face, like he is on a mission. “
