As the barbaric drought lowers the water level, the sunken World War II shipwreck rises from the deep sea.

As the water levels in US reservoirs continue to fall, World War II era boats have been revealed for the first time in decades.

Supported by the great drought, Lake Mead in Nevada and Arizona is at its lowest point since it was created in 1935 following the construction of the nearby Hoover Dam. The

boat is a Higgins landing ship designed to transport US troops during World War II.

It is unknown if this particular ship has ever taken action, but it was used to investigate the Colorado River after the warLas Vegas Review JournalReported.

The huge river that runs from the Rocky Mountains to California Bay in Mexico is the source of the water collected in Lake Meade.

According to the local scuba diving company, the boat was later purchased into the lake marina before it sank and formed a breakwater.

Once lay more than 185 feet (56 m) below the surface of the lake, it was eventually used as a diving site when the water was drained.

This is one of the many interesting artifacts revealed by the ongoing Great Drought, which is now in its 22nd year.

In the early 2000s, a ghost town called St. Thomas deliberately flooded and created a lakereappeared.

Recently pulled out of a retreating lake, fuels speculation about the past-related death potential of the Las Vegas mob.

Aside from historical concerns, drought is a serious concern for US authorities. Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the United States, supplying water to Arizona, California, Nevada, and parts of Mexico.

But on Friday, it fell to just 1,043.5 feet above sea level: a drop of about 45 feet in a year.

The characteristic white "bathroom ring" of mineral deposits around the edge of the lake shows the area submerged during the previous highs

near California Other reservoirs such as Powell and Oroville have also seen historically low prices in recent years.

Climate change is believed to be the main cause of drought. It is unlikely that Lake Meade will fill up soon, as unfavorable weather patterns are expected to continue.
