US streaming service Peacock premiered sci-fi romantic comedy meet cute stars Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson.
36-year-old Kaley Cuocois best known for playing Penny in the fan-favorite comedy The Big Bang His Theory. She's opposite SNL comedian Pete Davidson, the 28-year-old actor.
The film follows Sheila (Kaylee) and Gary (Pete), two women who use a time machine to create love at first sight.
But after the first date, when Gary couldn't live up to Sheila's idea of the perfect man, she decided to heal his past trauma and create a perfect match. Step back in time.
Ahead of the film's release in September, Peacock has unveiled a first look, with Kayleigh and Pete's characters lounging in a romantic scene.
The photo above shows the pair sharing an intimate moment in a romantic outdoor setting.
Upcoming Romantics Not much is known about her comedy, but Kaley and Pete were frequently spotted filming films around New York.
After the shoot, Kaley shared a lovely snap of her and Davidson on Instagram, writing, What an experience! Loved everyone involved in this special little gem of a movie.
She added:
"Meet Cute" is directed by Alex Lehmann, who has directed such films as "Acid Man," "Puddleton," and "Blue Jay."
In a statement, the director said it was a "delight" to make the film. I'm looking forward to getting hooked on," he added.
Before filming, Kaley was starring in the second season of HBO's award-winning series,The Flight Attendantt.
Earlier this month, she revealed to Variety that she would be making her third appearance to play Kathy Borden.
"A few weeks ago, I was sitting next to [Executive Producer] Greg Berlanti at a dinner party, and there were so many people there that it was really difficult to talk. But I whispered, he and I were like, "Third season?"
"I thought, 'Wow'. He didn't say anything. He nodded. Yeah!" she continued.
"I haven't thought about it for a while, but I think season 2 was very heavy on me. It was a big part of it, but now we're breaking up. Again.
Meanwhile,The Suicide Squad actor Pete will star as Max in James DeMonaco's horror thriller The Home. It's a schedule.
Meet Cute will be available September 21st at his Peacock in the US. A UK release date has yet to be announced.
