The One Show’s Ronan Keating can’t resist swipe at I’m A Celeb contestant – leaving Alex Jones in stitches

THE One Show's Ronan Keating made a cheeky remark at the I'm A Celebrity contestant - leaving Alex Jones in fits of laughter.

During the latest episode of the BBC show, the Irish presenter took a swipe at the celebrity guest just minutes into the show.

Former health secretary, Matt Hancock came third on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! earlier this week, making it to the final despite a lot of controversy about his stint on the show.

As Ronan and Alex discussed who they think will be the next celebrity to take part in Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special, the former Boyzone member took a bold swipe at Matt.

As the One Show duo were reading out viewers’ (incorrect) guesses at who the celebrity could be, Ronan said: "Matt Hancock, it’s not you."

Alex was in stitches as she exclaimed: "Brilliant!"

Matt arrived in the jungle as a latecomer, alongside Seann Walsh, and was voted in to do his first six bushtucker trials in a row.

The I'm A Celeb contestant earned a reported £400,000 for his time on the ITV reality show and is now taking part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins where he's been paid £45,000.

After leaving the camp, Matt told Ant and Dec that the reason why he wanted to join the competition was because he wanted to show what he's "just like as a person".

Elsewhere in the show, Alex Jones and Ronan Keating were joined by Lucy Worsley and the world’s first disabled astronaut John McFall.

And the next celebrity to join the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special was revealed as EastEnders and Gavin and Stacey star Larry Lamb.

Recently, I'M A Celeb fans watched as Boy George addressed his feud with Matt Hancock right to his girlfriend Gina's face in an awkward exchange.

I'm Celebrity viewers were reunited with the jungle campmates as the show revealed all the backstage action that was cut from TV in a special Coming Out edition of the iconic ITV show.
