THIS Morning's Holly Willoughby faced an awkward moment today when a guest suggest she'd slept in a skip.
It came after she and co-host Phillip Schofield enjoyed themselves at the ITV hit's Christmas party yesterday.
The star politely introduced guests Julian Clary and Nigel Havers live from the London Palladium before things took a turn for the chaotic.
Julian said: "We can tell you're trying to read the autocue in a sensible manner, but really they're on the lash aren't they?"
Holly looked from side to side and looked momentarily taken aback insisting: "We're really not."
The comedian later asked: "Did you wake up in a skip, Holly?"
She replied: "Not today. I mean, some days - yes - but today I'm actually an angel."
Nigel added that she had a "throaty sort of 'I've been up drinking a lot' voice."
One This Morning viewer remarked: "Never seen such an awkward interview Nigel havers and Julian clary clearly don’t want to be interviewed."
Holly previously spoke about the antics at the show's festive bash in London's posh Chelsea on Tuesday.
She said: "The flag was well and truly flown at the Christmas party yesterday."
The star added: "Not all members of the team are feeling alright this morning, let me tell you!"
Phillip defended the crew, saying: "The team have worked incredibly hard, and they did deserve a little bit of a break."
