Three people were shot dead after a hostage-taking at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting in central Florida, according to police.
A man was shot and a woman was taken hostage by an unnamed suspect Monday night when officers from the Daytona Beach Police Department were called to the charity site.
A SWAT team entered the building and found the two victims and a suspect dead. No further details have been released about the deceased.
According to the Associated Press, other people at the conference also supported Be The Bridge, a nonprofit that helps homeless people and others get a fresh start in life. I was able to escape from the office.
Investigators believe the incident was the result of a domestic dispute.
