Topless Rangers fan gatecrashes live BBC interview with wild Michael Beale appointment chant

Rangers have announced Michael Beale as their new manager - and it's left some sections of the Ibrox support dancing in celebration.

Beale succeeds sacked Gio van Bronckhorst, who replaced Gerrard when he moved to Aston Villa, for what is the Londoner’s second senior managerial job after moving to Queens Park Rangers in the summer following spells as number two at both Rangers and at Villa Park. Fans will be hoping that he can recapture the success that saw the Scottish Premiership title brought to Govan by the duo of Gerrard and Beale.

And one excited punter is clearly expecting success from the experienced coach as he steps into the top job in Govan, with a BBC Scotland interview being gatecrashed during the announcement. As the camera cut to Kheredine Idessane from the studio a Rangers fan was quick to show his delight in front of Ibrox following the club's confirmation of their new gaffer.

Idessane continues with the segment despite the interruption as he discloses the details of Beale's three-and-a-half year contract with The Light Blues. The camera then cuts away from the journalist and the bare-chested supporter.
