Two pensioners were taken to hospital after being hit by a car in the town of Aberdeenshire. Scottish police said the incident occurred on the beach road in Stonehaven around 2:20 pm on Tuesday 9 August.
Paramedics took her 80-year-old woman and her 76-year-old man to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. Their status is currently unknown.
No arrests have been made to date in connection with this incident. A Scottish Police spokesman said:
A 76-year-old man and an 80-year-old woman were taken by ambulance to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
