UK weather: Heat health alert issued ahead of heat wave

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a heat stroke alert for all parts of England as the UK prepares for another heatwave.

A heat wave is likely this week, with temperatures likely to rise to the low to mid-30s, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

The UKHSA alert will occur from 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 9th until 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 13th. Experts advise people to be careful with the elderly, those with pre-existing health conditions and young children.
