Anthony Joshua can take inspiration from Arthur Beterbiev before his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
AJ fought again in Saudi Arabia on Saturday,although he lost to his Ukrainian boxing master in September.
Usyk has looked nearly perfect in his 19 matches, winning in the professional ranks.
However, he boxed his 350 times as an amateur and won two Olympic gold medals.
In one particular match against the current unified light heavyweight champion Beterbiev, Usyk was defeated by the Russians.
He was knocked down to his ribs by a sneaky right hook, after which he lost his points.
Usyk, now 35, won two of his three matches as Beterbiev, 37, won the series without a paycheck.
This included a 2011 World Championship quarter-final win and a year later in the same stage of his Olympic Games in London.
As a professional,Beterbiev has won all 18 of his fights by knockout. This is the only champion in boxing where he achieved a 100% stopping rate.
Like Usyk, he holds his three of his four world belts.
