A couple who decided to leave their traditional lives behind and move to a box truck reveals how they did it.
Courtney and Sawyer tellTiny House Giant Journey that they decided to buy and convert a box truck so they could travel and live together .
On a second-hand site he found the truck for £2,888, plus he spent £8,000 renovating and decorating it. "It was a very affordable deal," Sawyer explained.
Courtney added:
To save more money and wait for the perfect material that won't break the bank, the couple took the time to refurbish their truck and named it Elfie.
Fortunately, Sawyer was already working as a carpenter, so he was able to do most of the work himself.
Although the truck is small, the couple packed everything they needed.
Courtney said:
The bathroom has everything you need including a walk-in her shower and a composting toilet. This toilet is purposefully built next to the front door so that the smell disappears quickly.
Surprisingly, the two of us could fit in a full-sized oven and still have plenty of counter space for cooking.
The living room was divided into closet space, office, The bedroom, it's a tight squeeze, but Courtney and Sawyer made it work with some clever design tricks. can lower the bed when you want to sleep.
Sawyer said: Keep your distance from each other when you're sleeping in the heat."
