Woman left looking like 'an Angry Bird' after attempt to dye eyebrows ends in disaster

If you've ever been tempted to switch up your hair colour, you've probably had to make the tough decision between risking it with a box of home dye or spending a small fortune at a hairdresser's.

And while it is cheaper to do it at home, you often don't get the results you hope for - as one woman found out when she decided to use the hair dye she had leftover to colour her eyebrows.

Reagan Marie Taylor explained in a viral video that she had painted the dye on lightly with a brush so she had thought everything would go smoothly, but she was in for a shock when she looked in the mirror, as the dye had spread and left her with thick black brows.

In the video, posted to her @reaganmarietaylor account on TikTok, she said: "I decided to dye my hair, right? And I thought, I've got dye left over, so I'll dye my eyebrows. Just tint them a bit.

"So I did that, and then I went and tidied my room so I haven't looked in the mirror or looked at my phone or anything, and oh my god ... Just prepare yourself for what you're about to see, because this is actually awful."

And in the caption, she added: "I put it on with a brush, I don't know how they got like this."

Commenters on the video were left in stitches at the outcome, as although Reagan hadn't yet washed the dye off, it was likely to leave a stain that would make her brows look much thicker and darker than she had anticipated.

One person said: "[You look like] Red from Angry Birds."

While another added: "Ms Trunchbull!"

And a third wrote: "Lock yourself away for a year and you'll be grand."

Reagan later shared a follow-up video after she had washed the dye off, in which her eyebrows were still thicker than she had hoped for, but not as bad as they had been before the dye was rinsed.

She said: "I'm actually not joking anymore, look at my eyebrows! I scrubbed them with exfoliating stuff and everything and it won't come off. I can't get it off! I have work tomorrow!"

Someone suggested: "Use milk on a cotton pad!"

As someone else wrote: "Try an oil-based face wipe, that's what I normally use."
