Sterling set to fly home

England's victory over Senegal was marred by news that Raheem Sterling will fly home to be with his family after his home was targeted by robbers.

The Chelsea forward played no part in Sunday's fixture after the distressing incident and it remains to be seen if he will return to Qatar.

Speaking after the win over Senegal, Gareth Southgate told ITV: "At the moment, clearly the priority is for him (Sterling) to be with his family and we're going to support that."
