A six-year-old boy who had been missing from County Westmeath has been found “safe and well”, gardaí confirmed.
Six-year-old Michael O’Connell was reported missing to Gardaí in Mullingar on Friday, 3rd June.
He was believed to be in the company of adult relatives, possibly in Northern Ireland or the border region.
Gardaí have not released any information about his whereabouts. A spokesperson thanked the media and public for their assistance.
