A 24-year-old resident of Netanya was stabbed to death Wednesday night during a brawl in the city.
Paramedics who arrived on the scene rushed the young man to Laniado Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police were investigating the circumstances of his death.
A paramedic told Channel 12 there was “tumult” at the scene when the team arrived. It was not immediately clear what caused the fight to break out, or how the victim may have been involved.
Earlier Wednesday, A man was shot dead and two others injured in the northern coastal city of Nahariya on Wednesday evening, in what was suspected to be an incident of criminal underworld violence, the second deadly shooting in two days linked to organized crime.
