Police said on Sunday that an unidentified body had been found, amid ongoing searches for a woman who has been missing for the past 11 days.
Police said the identity of the body has yet to be confirmed.
A widespread search has been ongoing since June 2 for Sapir Nachum, a 24-year-old mother of two from Acre.
Police said the body was discovered near the Bedouin village of Ibtin — about 25 kilometers south of Acre — an area that officials have been combing over the past few days as part of their search.
Police arrested Nachum’s boyfriend — who has a criminal background — in connection with her disappearance, though he denies any involvement.

The man, the father of her two young children, is known to the police and had been arrested before for violent offenses and vandalism.
Family members of Nachum told Israeli media that he had previously served many years in prison.

Nachum was last seen in person when she left her home on Herzl Street on June 2 with her 2-year-old daughter, whom she dropped off at kindergarten. Nachum also has an 8-month-old baby.
Relatives of the woman were said to fear the worst after she was later seen in security video footage entering a car belonging to the father of her children, who had a history of violent offenses. Nachum was said to be involved in a dispute over finances with the man.
