Soul, jazz and R&B artist Frank McComb to visit Rimon School of Music

Soul, jazz and R&B vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Frank McComb will be hosted by Rimon School of Music next week as an artist-in-residence, November 29-December 1.

McComb will perform and lead master classes that will be open to the public.

McComb has collaborated with some of the most famous names in American music including Prince, Chaka Khan, Branford Marsalis, George Duke, Frankie Beverly, Maze, Phyllis Hyman, Patrice Rushen, Lalah Hathaway, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee and others.

The famed songwriter and vocalist will teach a rhythm section master class, lead an open workshop with the Rimon Gospel Ensemble, a workshop for piano students and a production master class.

McComb’s visit will culminate with a concert featuring Rimon alumni on Thursday, December 1 at 8 p.m.
