Cricket boys win tough matches and get to meet Jonty Rhodes – Ladysmith Gazette

Monument Primary School’s U/11 cricket team recently travelled to White River for the annual White River Primary Tournament. The boys played four very tough matches and showed great character to win all four games.

All the teams were treated to a fielding masterclass by ex-Protea star Jonty Rhodes, who entertained both players and parents alike!

Jonathan Drysdale was selected as Player of the U/11 Tournament.

Mathew Gerber participated in the U/13 tournament as part of the Uthukela Sport Academy team. Mathew performed very well and was also selected as Player of the Tournament.
