A tropical wave toppled trees and downed power lines along the west coast and south of Saint Lucia on Wednesday night. Saint Lucia has been lashed by continual rain and thunderstorms associated with a number of adverse weather events over the course of the past few weeks. This has prompted advisories from the met office, appealing to Saint Lucians to be extra vigilant to stave off injury and or loss of life.
