Harris joins music stars to boost early voting turnout

Kamala Harris is teaming up with music icons to get out the vote in key battleground states. The Democratic VP nominee will appear alongside Detroit-born singer Lizzo to mark the start of in-person early voting in the Motor City on 10/19/24.

Over 1 million Michigan residents have already mailed in their ballots for the 11/5/24 election. Harris emphasized the immediacy of the electoral process stating “The election is here‚ The election is here right now“ during her campaign tour across the state yesterday.

Later today‚ Harris will head south to Atlanta for a rally featuring R&B superstar Usher. The Grammy-winning artist is expected to address attendees at the event. Georgiaʼs early voting is also in full swing with more than 12 million ballots cast either in-person or via mail.
