Fort Portal, Uganda | THE INDEPENDENT |  Divine Mercy Secondary School has embarked on an inspiring journey of expansion, driven by a valuable partnership with HRH Queen Ameenata Koita from the Royal House of Fulbe in Ashanti, Ghana. This collaboration is set to fuel the school’s growth through a dedicated fundraising effort.

The alliance with HRH Queen Ameenata Koita marks a significant milestone for Divine Mercy Secondary School. Queen Koita’s association with the Royal House of Fulbe brings a touch of royalty to this noble endeavour as her commitment to education and philanthropy aligns perfectly with the school’s vision of growth and advancement.

The primary objective of this partnership is to secure funding for the school’s expansion. Divine Mercy Secondary School aims to enhance its facilities, ensuring an even better educational experience for its students. With the assistance of HRH Queen Ameenata Koita, the fundraising efforts are expected to gather the resources necessary to turn this vision into reality.

In the last three years, they have been dedicated to safe expansion.

‘’We are so close to the finish line of our safe expansion efforts. We need another US$95,000 to complete the boys’ dormitory and to reach our capacity of adding another 200 students!’’ said Rev. Fr. Dr Christopher Mukidi the Director of Divine Mercy Schools

‘’A generous donor has offered a 2:1 match gift funding. If we can raise US$32,000, they will offer the $64,000 to achieve our fundraising goal. Your gift will allow us to safely complete the top floor of the boys’ dormitory and add the last remaining safety needs to the rest of our campus,’’ added Joanna Kasayuuni, Divine Mercy Schools Fundraising Associate
