Frances foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot has stated that Paris is ready to consider an immediate invitation for Ukraine to join NATO‚ however discussions with allies are still ongoing. During a press conference with Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha Barrot mentioned‚ “Regarding the invitation for Ukraine to join NATO we are open to it and its a discussion that we are having with our partners“
Barrot also touched upon the topic of North Koreas potential involvement in the Ukraine conflict. He warned that if reports of North Korea sending troops to support Russia were confirmed it would be seen as a major escalation.
