On a recent tuesday Israeli air-force carried out wide-spread attacks in Syria hitting military spots and weapon storage places (which could end up in rebel groups hands)
The large-scale air-strikes came together with something special: its the first time since mid-70s when Israeli Defense Forces put boots on Syrian ground — about half-a-century after the well-known Yom Kippur conflict. Many world leaders spoke against these actions which add more problems to an already complex mid-east situation
The timing of this operation comes when Syria deals with big changes after Bashar al-Assad lost power; various armed groups now try to build new power structures in different regions of the country
