Police have released photos of a young man suspected of being the one who stabbed two people during a fight which occurred in the early hours of Sunday at a nightclub in Nicosia.
This is what Philenews reported on Monday, adding that during the fracas – around 3am – two men aged 24 and 38 were injured and are now being treated at the Nicosia General Hospital.
Both victims are in stable condition, police also said.
One of the injured men worked there as a security guard who had approached the young pair involved in the fight to deal with the situation but the armed perpetrator stabbed him in the chest and fled.
Police are calling on witnesses to provide useful information by contacting Nicosia CID on 22-802222 or the Citizens’ Hot Line on 1460 or their nearest police station.
