St. George’s, Grenada- GrenadaCreditUnions will host the 16th Summit of OECS Credit Unions from October 3-8, 2023 under the theme ‘Credit Unions…Bolder Actions; Bigger Value; Brighter Tomorrow’.
The event will be held at the Gateway Assembly Convention Centre, Point Salines, with social/hospitality activities at other venues. The event will witness over 250 credit union practitioners and volunteers from Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Montserrat, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions (CCCU), World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) and host country Grenada.
The Keynote address at the Opening Ceremony will be delivered by Mr. Michel D. Williams, Senior Accountant, Financial Consultant and Business Adviser. The Government of Grenada will be represented by Honorable Lennox Andrews, Minister for Economic Development, Planning, Tourism, ICT, Creative Economy, Agriculture and Lands, Fisheries and Co-operatives who will address the delegates.
The Opening Ceremony will be broadcast live via the internet on the Facebook page of the Grenada Co-operative League Ltd.
Grenada previously hosted the OECS Summit in 2005 and 2011.
