In an impressive turn of events, Grenada made a strong comeback to defeat Dominica in the Windward Islands Super 50 Championship. This came after a tough defeat by St. Lucia in their first game.
Dominica, batting first, reached a score of 105 for 4 in 30 overs before rain interrupted play. Kasem Hodge played exceptionally well, scoring an unbeaten 51.
Later, Grenada was set a target of 124 runs to win in 23 overs using the Duckworth Lewis method. In a remarkable response, Grenada achieved the target, reaching 124 for 4 in just 15.5 overs. Teddy Bishop showcased his skills with an unbeaten 54 off 40 balls, while Johann Jeremiah contributed 49 runs off 41 balls.
Unfortunately, the other match between St. Lucia and St. Vincent was abandoned due to rain St. Lucia won the toss and batted reached 39 without loss in 9.5 overs before the rain came. Looking ahead, Grenada will face St. Vincent, and Dominica will take on St. Lucia on Friday.
