The Israeli military has been conducting a major operation around Jabalia‚ just south of Beit Lahiya for about two weeks. Theyʼre trying to remove remaining Hamas fighters. Over 5000 Palestinians left Jabalia using designated routes (as stated by an Israeli military spokesperson)

Smoke was seen rising from Beirutʼs southern suburbs once a densely populated area that also housed Hezbollah offices and underground installations
The cross-border fighting between Israel and Hezbollah started a year ago when Hezbollah began launching rockets to support Hamas. In early October‚ Israel launched a ground assault inside Lebanon trying to stabilize the border region for its citizens whod fled rocket attacks in northern Israel
