iciHaiti - POLIFRONT : Inspection tour in the Northeast department

In order to assess the resources of the Land Border Police (POLIFRONT), in terms of manpower and logistics to better strengthen its capacities, the Principal Commissioner Holden Saintilus, Director of POLIFRONT carried out a tour in the department of North-East, notably in Morne-Casse, Ouanaminthe and Capotille.

He took the opportunity on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief Frantz Elbé to deliver letters of congratulations to several police officers for their sense of commitment in the accomplishment of their mission while others were sanctioned or dismissed from this PNH unit, deployed particularly at the border points between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

During this tour, the Director of POLIFRONT met with officials from several public institutions including town halls, justice, the emigration and immigration service and Customs. These discussions aim to better harmonize and strengthen the existing links between all these institutions that operate at this border point between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Holden Saintilus also paid a special visit to Colonel Juan Adames, head of the Specialized Body for Land Border Security (CESFRONT) in the province of Dajabón.
