Ex-president Morales reports shooting at his car during Bolivia's political divide

Evo Morales‚ ex-president of Bolivia got his car shot at last fall - with bullet marks visible in the windshield and his driver hurt but managing to keep going. The incident happened during road-blocks by his supporters which caused big supply problems in the country

The situation shows a deep split between Morales and President Luis Arce (who used to work together in the same political group): its getting worse as the country moves towards its 25ʼ elections. Government folks say Morales is making trouble with his two-week road blocking - which stops food and gas from moving around

Police tried to clear these road-blocks but got problems; about 14 officers got hurt. The government says some of Morales friends have weapons and might cause more issues. Boliviaʼs got other big problems too — its running low on gas money in banks and prices keep going up

Morales also didnt show up to court when they called him about some serious claims (which he says arent true). Now theres an arrest order out for him. The whole thing is making Boliviaʼs money problems even worse — with less gas being made less money coming in and prices going higher and higher
