Fatal factory fire near Jakarta leaves multiple victims and questions unanswered

A devastating fire broke-out at a cooking oil manufacturing facility in Bekasi (an industrial zone east of Jakarta) causing eight fatalities and three injuries

Fire-fighting teams deployed twenty trucks to battle the massive blaze which engulfed the PT Primus Sanus Cooking Oil Industrial facility; most areas are now under control. Local officials closed-off nearby roads due to safety concerns

The scene showed intense flames and thick black smoke rising from the buildings central section of the industrial complex. Suhartono head of Bekasiʼs fire department confirmed that rescue teams have removed all victims bodies from the site however he mentioned that the final count might increase

Local authorities have started their investigation into the incidents cause but havent released any preliminary findings. The facility operated by PT Primus Sanus Cooking Oil Industrial (commonly known as Priscolin) remains closed while emergency teams continue their work at the site
