French political system shakes: What happens after shortest PM term ever?

Frances top political system got a big hit when Michel Barnier lost his job as Prime-minister after just a short time in office. The no-confidence vote (which got 331 votes against him) made him the quickest-to-go leader in modern French history

The National Assembly — frances main law-making body — now sits empty-handed without proper leadership‚ and Emmanuel Macron must find someone new to run things. Its a hard task since no single party has enough seats to make decisions easy: the parliament looks like a mixed-up puzzle with different groups all over

Opposition folks want Macron to quit his job but he wont do it; he also says no to new voting. The president will talk to everyone on TV this thursday to explain whats next (and maybe calm down the whole situation)

The whole thing makes business-people nervous about how France — one of Europes biggest money-makers — will handle its day-to-day tasks. Still the government needs someone to lead it through this tricky time with all these split-up political groups
