Top North Korean official meets with Russian counterpart to discuss military partnership in Moscow. Both countries strengthen their ties while exchanging statements about international security issues
During a high-profile Moscow meet-up Choe Son Hui North Koreas top diplomat shared some eye-catching statements with Sergei Lavrov about their countries growing friendship
The gathering (which happened early november) showed how close these nations have become: both sides talked about their super-strong military bond. Choe mentioned that her country would stick by Russia in its ukraine operation which started bout two-and-half years back
Our traditional historically friendly relations which have travelled the tested path of history today are rising to a new level of relations of invincible military comradeship
The talk happened while western countries pointed-out that North Korea sent help to Russia; specifically:
- Around ten-thousand troops overall
- Eight-thousand soldiers in kursk area
- Military supplies and equipment
Lavrov spoke about real-close military ties; saying both countries can now fix security issues together. He also talked about how the west pushed nato east-ward which he thinks made all this happen
The north korean side brought up some wild ideas bout US and south korea making nuclear plans against them (without showing any proof tho). Choe said things near korean border could get real hot anytime; explaining why they need to keep their nuclear program strong
Both countries signed some kind of protect-each-other deal back in june‚ and now they want to make it even stronger. Moscow hasnt said yes-or-no bout those foreign troops on its land - they just keep saying its their business how to work with pyongyang
