Northern Gaza homes hit: Hundreds trapped under debris as aid crisis deepens

Five residential buildings in northern Gaza got hit by bombs early thursday leaving many people stuck under broken walls and concrete (most rescue teams cant reach the area due to ongoing military activity)

The incident happened in Beit Lahiya where Dr Hussam Abu Safiya from Kamal Adwan Hospital says about 200 people lived in that area: medical teams are doing what they can but dont have working ambulances to move injured people around. The hospitalʼs situation is extra-hard because most doctors were made to leave or got detained

  • Beit Hanoun

These three towns are now under heavy military presence — Israeli forces say its needed to stop fighters from re-grouping but local people think its meant to create some kind of empty space near the border

The UNʼs Philippe Lazzarini points out a scary fact; almost all of Gaza is now super-dangerous. “People are stuck with nowhere safe to go; in the north theyʼve had no help for more than 40 days“ he wrote on social media

Food is getting super-expensive because gangs keep stealing aid trucks. A bag of flour that used to cost 50 shekels now costs 700 — if you can even find it. Tamer‚ who moved to central Gaza says: “Everyone is hungry; thieves are making things worse“

About 13 months after the oct-7 attack when Hamas killed 1200 people in Israel the situation keeps getting worse. Most of Gazaʼs 2‚3 million people had to leave their homes and now peace talks arent moving forward because Qatar stopped trying until both sides want to make deals

Israeli strikes continue hitting different places: two people died in Nuseirat camp and three others in Rafah near Egyptʼs border
