In early november a devastating incident shook the northern Serbian city when a concrete-covered walkway fell at its main rail hub — causing 15 deaths and leaving two people hurt.

This sunday thousands of grief-stricken locals marched through Novi Sad streets (marking exactly one month since the tragedy) The protesters carried a large banner showing a red handprint: a direct message suggesting that current leadership bears responsibility for these deaths.

The demonstration reached its peak at the citys main square where participants made their statement even more visible — they placed red handprints on ground surfaces and covered significant parts of the area in red paint; making an unforgettable sight for everyone present at this peaceful but powerful show of unity
