Pentagon chief sends powerful military package to guard Middle East interests

Lloyd Austin from the Defense Department made a big-time move to beef-up Americas Middle East presence. The fresh military package includes anti-missile destroyers fighter planes and fuel-tanker aircraft (plus some B-52 heavy bombers)

The Pentagonʼs spokesperson Pat Ryder shared info about the plan: these new forces will help shield Israel and look after US people in that area. The roll-out starts in early-2025 right when USS Abraham Lincoln wraps-up its duty

The mix of sea-and-air power includes high-tech stuff — like those missile-blocking ships that can spot and shoot down incoming threats; a whole group of fast jets to control the skies‚ and those mega-sized B-52s that can fly super-far. All this gear works together to make a real strong defense net in this hot-spot region
